If you are a Torontonian, I'm sure you've heard of Kensington Market and have witnessed the magic of this neighbourhood. If not, you must make it your next trip. If you love thrifting, you'll absolutely adore this place. I can go on and on, but you really need to experience Kensington up close and personal to know exactly what I'm talking about. If thrifting is not your scene, it's still a great place to grab a bite/ get some authentic coffee and people watch.
Planning for Halloween already? There are hundreds and thousands of pieces to choose from, and planning a costume party on a budget will be a breeze! Excited for fall fashion? You can put together a Zara inspired fashion look for so much cheaper. You just need to keep an open mind and be committed to digging a little harder. Everyone needs an ugly Christmas sweater, have you found yours? Bam! Another reason to go. Don't wait until December, Christmas sweaters are a hot commodity during holiday season. I'm sure you guys are all aware.
Strolling through Kensington will instantly have you feeling closer to Toronto's history. So, the next time you're sitting at home wondering what to do you know where to go.
Sorry for the lack of pictures, I got a little too excited thrifting that I forgot to take them. Regardless, pictures wouldn't do this place justice anyways.
Fake palm trees during yesterday's patio lunch at Hungary- Thai has got me wishing for palm trees in Canada allllllll over again.
Sweet tooth satisfied thanks to Don't Call Me Cupcake, a cute little pastry shop famous for their Rum cake! Yay for $7 sunglasses, one of yesterday's Kensington finds. FYI, Kensington is a sunglass addict's heaven.
