This post is probably more for myself than for any of my readers, but if any of you are thinking about a trip to Chicago please please get in touch with me and I'd be more than happy to share more details like accommodation, hidden gems, and must-sees with all of you! If you're a student, do bring your student card along. Almost all the museums and art galleries we went to offered a student discount. If you do happen to forget your student card, see if you can log into your school's online portal and show them that instead!
We flew through Porter Airlines (it was my first time with them), and I can honestly say I was 110% satisfied with their services and can't wait to fly with them again! Waiting in Porter's YTZ lounge was a highlight- their complimentary cafe was home to the greatest chocolate chip cookies. I'm pretty sure I had 7 just before departure... oops.
It's always so hard for me to share my travel experiences in words. Taking pictures has always been my thing, and I'm so happy I have an abundance of photos I can look back on long after the experience is over. Photos or no photos, I do know that binging on deep dish pizza while museum hopping across the windy city was the perfect way to celebrate turning 23.
I'm so grateful for your presence J, thank-you for celebrating with me.
